UCSB Connect Program
The UCSB PaCE Connect Program, offered by UCSB Professional and Continuing Education in collaboration with KSE Global Education, provides a two-year pathway for global high school graduates to enroll at UC Santa Barbara. The program offers a structured, comprehensive college curriculum built specifically for international students, career preparation programming, and a guaranteed pathway to four-year degree programs.
Why Choose the UCSB Connect Program?
The University of California, Santa Barbara (UC Santa Barbara or UCSB) is a public land-grant research university in Santa Barbara, California. Tracing its roots back to 1891 as an independent teachers' college, UCSB is the third-oldest undergraduate campus in the UC system after UC Berkeley and UCLA. UCSB is an R1, or "tier 1" research university, and is consistently ranked among the top public universities in the United States.
The mission of UCSB Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE) is to uphold the highest educational standards at the University of California. We are dedicated to addressing the evolving professional and continuing education needs of UCSB students, businesses, and the broader community, helping them reach their career potential. By enrolling in the UCSB Connect program, international students can experience the UCSB campus without committing to a major right away.

Through the UC Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) program, students who meet specific academic and major-related criteria are guaranteed admission to many of UCSB's undergraduate programs as third-year students. TAG helps streamline the transfer process, ensuring that eligible students can transition smoothly into UCSB (or five other UC schools) and ultimately complete their undergraduate degrees.
