Coursera Conference Blog
UC Santa Barbara Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE) has partnered with Coursera to bring career-focused programs to learners around the world.
The partnership was first announced at Coursera Connect 2025 in Las Vegas, where Coursera CEO Greg Hart welcomed UCSB as one of the newest university partners. Nick Ross from PaCE’s instructional design team attended the conference to represent UCSB and stopped by Coursera’s conference photo area to mark the occasion.
That moment was just the beginning. Now, it’s live.
PaCE has officially launched its first programs on Coursera, with initial offerings focused on CPA-aligned accounting topics like financial reporting, auditing, and core business concepts. These programs are designed to support learners preparing for the CPA exam, advancing in financial roles, or building foundational accounting knowledge.
Through Coursera’s platform, PaCE can reach a broader audience while incorporating tools like Coursera Coach and Role Play to create more interactive, applied learning experiences.
This launch is just the start, with additional programs in human resources, web development, and professional skills planned for the future.
