Dr. D.Dimitriou is a Pediatrician with a Ph.D. in Pediatrics from the University of Athens. Moreover, he attended Yale University at Yale Child Study Center for his Post-Doc studies. For the past 18 years, Dr. Dimitriou has focused in Autism and PDDs, and the multicultural adaptation and application of evidence based intervention programs worldwide. He also attended post doc courses on Neurometabolic diseases at Robert Debre Hospital-Paris, France. He has also translated numerous relevant tests in Greek as MCHAT R/F which he also standardized with his team. For the past 15 years, he has trained with Professors Koegel in UCSB for PRT Certification and is a Certified Trainer of Trainers (PRT Certification Level V). He currently serves as International Program Coordinator at Koegel Autism Consultants. He is the author of the first Greek book on Typical Child Development Checklist, and his latest book is about Autism & AI-Integrating Artificial Intelligence into Evidence-Based Autism Intervention and Everyday Life, in a total of 15 publications. He has organized numerous Congresses in Athens Greece, Nicosia Cyprus and internationally like Istanbul Turkey and elsewhere and he delivers numerous lectures nationwide. Additionally, he holds a degree in Political Sciences and in Oriental and Middle Eastern Studies with specialization in Migration. Dr. Dimitriou has also acted as a lecturer at the Police Academy of Cyprus on Migration and Oriental Studies-Islam. He is President of the Cyprus Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Society and has a private clinic in Nicosia Cyprus and a pediatrics clinic in Athens Greece. He speaks 17 languages and was distinguished in the European Language Contest in 2000.
